Nurses looking for new career opportunities in 2019 are invited to attend a recruitment open day at Northampton General Hospital (NGH) on 2nd February 2019 from 10am to 2pm.
The hospital has openings for nurses and midwifes to work in Medicine, Paediatrics and Theatres. NGH provides acute care services for 380,000 people, it is the first hospital in the UK to have achieved the Pathway to Excellence® accreditation, an international programme to validate workplaces, where nurses are supported to develop and flourish. The hospital has also invested in new facilities, including the emergency centre and a new chemotherapy suite, offering a great work environment for its healthcare teams.
At the open day nurses will get the chance to meet the nursing team, take a tour of the facilities and find out about more the roles available and prospective candidates. Live job interviews will also take place, so nurses should bring their CVs. Conditional job offers will also be awarded on the day.

Northampton General Hospital is one of the key partners in the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ recruitment campaign, launched last year by Altadicta, designed to address the chronic nursing shortage across Northamptonshire.
It is the first campaign of its kind to bring together several NHS providers to address the national shortage of doctors and nurses by highlighting the many benefits of relocating to Northamptonshire, including the varied career opportunities and better quality of life.
The campaign unites the University of Northampton, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital (KGH), St Andrew’s Healthcare and Northants GP.
