Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is holding a recruitment day at Danetre Hospital in Daventry to showcase career opportunities for Bank Band 5 Nurses and casual workers including Healthcare Assistants, porters, drivers and domestic services.
Danetre Hospital is a community hospital in Daventry, offering a wide range of services that deliver a high standard of care. At the recruitment day, the hospital hopes to attract registered nurses looking for flexible work positions, as well as healthcare assistants, porters, drivers and those working in domestic services looking for new opportunities. Attendees will be able to meet members of staff and tour the facilities. Interviews will also be held during the event, so people should fill in the application form online to register for an interview.
Sarah Clarke, Interim Business Recruitment Partner, at Northamptonshire NHS Foundation Trust said, “This is an exciting time for Northamptonshire Community Hospitals as we continue to widen our provision of care to enable patients to be cared for closer to home. We care for a wide variety of patients and provide step–up and step-down facilities to avoid acute hospital admissions and to facilitate early discharge.
“We hope to recruit qualified nurses and support staff and there are a number of vacancies within the Bank that offer flexible hours and weekly pay, including healthcare assistants, drivers and porters. People keen to find a fresh challenge in a supportive environment should come along to the open day to find out more.”
NHFT is rated ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and provides support in the community and in hospital settings, for physical and mental health, as well as for adults and children.
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is one of the key partners in the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ recruitment campaign, launched last year by Altadicta. It is the first campaign of its kind to bring together several NHS providers to address the national shortage of doctors and nurses by highlighting the many benefits of relocating to Northamptonshire, including the varied career opportunities and better quality of life.
The campaign unites the University of Northampton, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital (KGH), St Andrew’s Healthcare and Northants GP.
