Opening September 2020, Circle Rehabilitation hospital will be the specialist rehabilitation centre for patients in the West Midlands. The hospital will look after the recovery needs for those in Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stoke, Shrewsbury, Worcester and beyond.
Circle Rehabilitation Birmingham will be the UK’s largest specialist rehabilitation centre for patients recovering from COVID-19, living with Parkinson’s disease, regaining strength after a sporting injury and lots more and will work alongside private provider BMI Healthcare and other hospitals.
The West Midlands Academic Science Network (WMAHSN) has been collaborating with Circle Health Rehabilitation and BMI Healthcare during the pandemic, delivering a series of events onthe opportunity for effective rehabilitation in a post-COVID world, specifically focused on patients recovering from COVID-19 and the ongoing health issues that the virus can result in.
Following these workshops WMAHSN, Circle Health Rehabilitation and BMI Healthcare worked together to developsessions for healthcare professionals and anyone that will be supporting effective rehabilitation in a post-COVID-19 world, to roll out the knowledge and training.

Circle Rehabilitation Birmingham is the first of its kind in the UK delivering intensive, customised, evidence-based therapy and care which brings the best of both the UK and European care models together.
This latest addition to the Birmingham healthcare market will also provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care which will allow integrated care pathways to be planned and personalised for patients requiring support in the management of chronic conditions, pre and post-surgery preparation and recovery and support patient’s wellbeing.
