NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) was named the top performing organisation in the UK healthcare sector when it achieved the employers network for equality and inclusion (enei), Talent, Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) gold award for the second year running.
The TIDE benchmarking process looked at diversity and inclusion work across the whole organisation including policy, procedure and practice, recruitment, colleague training and development, communication and engagement, and more.
NHSBSA also came second out of all applicants. Michael Brodie, Chief Executive of NHSBSA said: “This is fabulous recognition of our passion for ensuring that the NHSBSA is a great place to work, an organisation that is diverse and inclusive and supports people to bring their whole selves to work and to give and be their best. And whilst we know there is much more to do, this recognition is a great reflection of how far we have come and to the efforts of all of our people in all of our services.”
The Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei) is the leading employer network promoting equality and inclusion in the workplace. Their role is to influence government, business and trade unions, campaigning for real practical change.
enei said “Out of 98 entries there were only 13 gold awards, so it really is an incredible achievement.”
The Gold Standard is only awarded to the very top performing organisations in TIDEmark (Talent, Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation). The TIDEmark allows organisations to measure progress in equality, diversity and inclusion practice both year-on-year and in comparison with their peers.
